The Mighty Orange River
The great frontier that cuts between Namibia and its southern neighbor, South Africa, is the mighty Orange River a natural boundary that extends for some 500kms between the two countries

From traveling along the Orange to exploring the challenging drives and onto some of the most captivating canyons, Norotshama will enchant and entice you. Guided tours to seek out the wild Namib horses that reside on the farm are a must.

Where these desert horses come from remains a mystery however it is largely thought that the horses are descendants of the horses from the German Schutztruppler. Abandoned after the invasion of the then German South West Africa in 1915. Extremely shy, these rugged beasts have adapted well to the demanding conditions of the desert.
A Photographer's Paradise
The clean pollution free skies make the area a paradise for photographers keen to take in the mesmerizing geological formations.
Explore Historical sites
Stooped in history the farm also has the relics of a German military battalion and a small graveyard of German Mounted Infantrymen that fell during the Nama rebellion of 1903 to 1906.
Visit the Cultural village
As a result of the innovative grape producing industry that has emerged in the region a developing community exists close to the Norotshama that serves the grape production project. A visit to this cultural village is a must see and one can't help but marvel at the enterprising construction of their village.
